The children in 3rd class B have really enjoyed learning Lámh sign language with Ms. O'Donovan. Lámh is a means of communication used by children and adults with intellectual disabilities and communication needs. Lámh signs are based on Irish Sign Language. The children in 3rd B have been been working hard for the last five weeks learning many different songs using Lámh, including Perfect by Ed Sheeran and Count on me by Bruno Mars. It has been a wonderful opportunity for the children to become more mindful of the needs of children and adults who communicate in alternative ways.
