Thursday 16th March: 6th class went on a tour to Dublin to visit Glasnevin Cemetery and Croke Park. The children were given a guided tour of the cemetery and they got to see the crypt of Daniel O'Connell and the O'Connell Tower. They also visited the grave of Thomas Traynor and learned about his links to Cahir. On to Croke Park then where the children got a bird's eye view of Dublin City on the Skywalk Tour. A stop for refreshments in Junction 14 on the way back finished a great day!
