As part of our Science Week activities 6th class had a visit from Shauna O'Dwyer who is the Environmental and Sustainability Officer in ABP, Cahir. Shauna spoke to the classes about the work of a scientist and about all the different career opportunities for scientists. The class got to see microscope slides showing plant cells, bees wings and lots more. They then got to put on a lab coat and try an experiment. A massive thanks to Shauna for coming to the school and giving a super presentation to help inspire the scientists of the future!
